- High doses of this herb can lead to miscarriage in pregnant women, so doctor’s advice should be taken in this case
- The herb can interfere with aspirin or warfarin, blood thinners and can cause clotting in blood
- If a person is in diabetes medications, the use of this herb should be avoided as it can alter the sugar level in blood
