I am not sure if tooth ache and tooth decay are related. Tooth ache can occur due to lot of other reasons like a problem with the gums or rupture of the gums. One point is for sure that tooth ache is horrible as there are so many sensitive areas around mouth. It is better to prevent tooth problems by proper tooth care then to face the ugliest pain I have ever imagined.
