What do the swallows instinctively know that humans don’t? They know how to remove the film from their newborn baby birds’ eyes! They use the leaves of the Greater Celandine plant, squeezing the juice onto their babies’ eyelids (hence its nickname: “swallow-wort”)
And guess what… this works in humans to get rid of cataracts! But you must be careful not to put the juice directly into the eyes — just gently onto the closed eyelids — or the plant sap will sting (after all, it is a medicine).
Unlike humans, birds are way too smart to go to a surgeon & have the actual lens of their eyes sucked out with a vaccuum then cut out and replaced with a cheap piece of plastic! (Note: that is cataract surgery — which sometimes doesn’t even work and leaves behind a detached retina!) Instead, they use nature, as the Creator intended.
We would do well to learn from the animals who are born knowing so much more than us!
