- Powder some pepper, add salt and then mix them well. Massage the gums by using this powder a number of times in a day. It can be very burning but also has medicinal values.
- Prepare a mixture of spinach juice with some carrot juice. Both of them can be had in equal quantity to fill a soup of bowl. Drink this once in a day.. It helps in maintaining gingival hygiene and helps in healing the pyorrhea and is one of the effective home remedy for Pyorrhea.
- Ayurvedic herbs such as handra, neem, patola, babool are good for healing and have disinfectant properties.
- One must not take cheese and other milk products. As they stick to the gums causing further growth of bacteria.
- Spicy as well as junk food can be avoided.
- Oral hygiene is very essential.
- Brush your teeth with herbal tooth paste.
- Spicy, canned food, as well as junk foods must not be taken.
